i have wd 45 and i had heard that u can bore out to 4 5/8 . My question is what sleve kit is being used ,cause i know that the only kit that allis chalmers has is 4 1/8 . if any one know it would be a big help to me . thanks blair

IT WOULD BE BEST JUST TO GET THE SLEEVES FROM DARTON, DEPENDING ON WHAT STROKE YOU USE WOULD DETERMINE WHAT PISTONS WOULD BE BEST.
6" IS THE LONGEST STROKE MOST COMMONLY USED, SOME DO GO WITH MORE, 6.5" CAN BE UGLY
I HAVE STROKED MANY ALLIS CRANKS.

I would also be interested in hearing how it is possible. Could you bore the block to accept larger sleeves? What is the longest stroke that can be used reliably?
