I have an M with an 8060 head. It has 12.5:1 compression and 80 hp. I am looking to buy a 450 gas head. How much more compression/horsepower would this head give me. I am well aware that the 8060 head is a boat anchor.

I can help ya there. I have 2 8060 heads. Both of them are cracked in the same places. Did these heads have week spots in them? A boat anchor is the only thing they're good for.

FROM WHAT I UNDERSTAND THEIRS 190CC IN A 400-450 GAS HEAD. MINE HAS 180CC, AN 8060 IS AROUND 225CC

THE BIGGEST PART THOUGH IS THE WAY THE NEW GENERATION PORT'S ARE SET IN THE HEAD. IT BREATES ALOT BETTER
