Does anyone know where I could get a smaller quantity of the epoxy block filler Murphy's is advertising or something like it? Maybe a quart or 2. I only about 1-2 in. in the bottom of my M block. Like the sound of this over block-crete.

You could use a fiberglass resin to fill the bottom of the block, I have had very good luck with it. I would think that Summit racing equipment would cary different types of block filler. CHad

Ok, fellas, stupid question time...explain to me this filling of the block. I have heard of using foam inside the tranny to take up space for less oil, but never heard of this. Enlighten me o wise ones. Thanks, FD

Hardblock is a grout like quickcrete which stabilizes the bottom end. It doen't seal well at all and is used to keep everything straight in the bottom end. Epoxy that flexes and seals keeps the water and oil seperated.

Thats just my opinion.
