CAN ANYBODY TELL ME h>p> OF THIS ENGINE?THIS ENGINEWAS ON PROPANE, POWER UNIT,ALSO NEED A 3 DUCES SET UP FOR IT , HAVE BEEN TOLD A SET UP OFF CHYSLER MIGHT WORK, IT HAD A 2 INCH LINE GOING TO 2 BIG #E REG. FOR FUEL , PROPANE THAT IS, ALSO HAS FACTORY DUALS, I DONT WANT TO TEAR UP MY TRAN AN REAR END, WHY I WANT KNOW h.p> THANKS IN ADVANCE.

Don't know much about 427, but recently found a continental 478 gas, which is supposed to be similar - looks very much like the Hercules in our 2050, but single head. Would make a great puller motor for an Oliver or Massey...

The 427 in the old fox chopper we had was 110 hp on gas whitch it used at a rate of 16/20 gal per hour. hope this helps. joe
