ok lets feild the generator so it produces output while pulling. change the rear lube to ATF so it has less resistance. put a 300 lb weight on the PTO and leave it engaged while pulling. hide a can of nitrous oxide in the stock air breather, with a electric valve. space the engine forward from the bellhousing, and using extra long bolts add a spare flywheel. super cool your fuel before each run. put 2 stroke oil in the fuel, and lots of it, Yamaha Smokeless preffered. weld the starter bendix out, and light it up as the power falls off. run Mercury Marine surface gap plugs so you can run heavily oiled fuel without fouling.
use 2 batteries with a series/parallel switch off a kenworth to really spin the generator and starter motors.

Has anyone thought about an air spoiler on the rear of the tractor to put more down-pressure on the rear tires?

Last time I went to a pull the only ones that ran out of power were the JD 2cyl with fast low gear and original powerplant in place. Guess we know who those guys are on the board Hee Hee.

Don't get excited boys, just kidding around!!!

You can power out any tractor if you add anuff weight to it. A 6000# tractor may spin in a 6000# class but add some weight and put it in the 10,000# class and it will probly power out.

If you wear a green and yellow shirt that will get you into a lower class.

I think putting gophers or,(trying to stay away from the term squirril here),hampsters in the rear tires and make sure they are going in the right direction would be a big plus. OK, OK, flying squirrils could be used. They could hover during weigh-in. That way the guy with the 35oo# tractor that was worried about the weight problem could make it in.
