I would like to know if I can bore my 400 {264} block to 4.375 without hitting a water jacket or having to run a sleeve. That's 4 3/8 inches. Is there enough meat?

they will require any one they suspect to drop the oil pan. or the head. If ok the club pays to replace the gaskets. in 15 years this has happened only once. there pulls are run real well. almost all the tractors in this class finish within ten feet of each other. in an open class.only those who would try to cheat worry about it.they had a block explode once I guess and someone got hurt. the rule allows you to go open rpm with saftey
