hey, i just happened to check out an old post i posted and seen that you replied Link and i was wondering what the theory is behind the cold air being better than more air. yes, i still do have the original manifold as well. the picture above is of the "replacement" manifold. it has about 1/8" larger ports than my 450 manifold.

Hey Shannon,
Think of your engine as an air pump. The more air you push through that engine, the more power you can make. Colder air is denser than hot so you can pack more cold air in the cylinders. You might want to do some porting on the cold manifold. At least port match it to your cyl head. If you want HP definitely use the cold manifold. Good luck!
