I was curious on getting some input from you guys that pull heavy classes like 7500 or 8500. I've always enjoyed watching the big JDs, Case's, G MM's, Olie99s, and Masseys grunt and lug. My GBD came new with 18.4x34 or 23.1x26 tires. I can bump up one size from stock according to local rules. What type and size of tires do you HEFTY TRACTOR guys like to use? What tractors do you pull?

I would run a good set of road worn tires that are already mentioned in 20.8 x 34 on 20" wide rims if they will allow them if not 18"

I had a set of 16.9X38 Firestone 23 degree Super All Traction that was a darn good biting tire on most tracks,I would like to find another set like them in a 15.5 or 14.9.

we like to run firestone 18.4 38 field and road tires, or run the BF Goodrich tires that are the similar pattern, although WE don't run them cause we aint found any, I do have a cousin that does, and he competes good with a 4020 in the 9000 with 20.8x38 tires. The armstrong/titan tires I have heard alot of good about, but haven't tried them. I havent' tried the tires yet, but eh 23 degree or whatever firestone tires that are new look like they would do good, will try a set sometime soon...

I pull a JD 730 gas in deadweight. I weigh it in at 9500, and up, 15.5X38 duals, Nice combo for dead weight pulling. I run 2-3 gear most of the time. Chad
