Were tryin to get a 10000 non turbo class together for our May pull and I wanted to ask a question. If we had a 6mph speed limit non turbo, which would be the favorite machine for the job,IH,Oliver,JD,or something else? There is supposed to be a 966 to show up along with a 930 Case.I pull 5500 up to 7500lb so I don't know much about the bigger tractors. Thanks

What about a Oliver 2255 with a 3208 Cat.
650 cid, 3500 RPM, 18.4 x 38 Radials.
Would it fit in the rules?

JD 4020, 4000, or 4040 will do good. Also MM 1050 or 1000(I think thats the model numbers) will usually win. Also some fords like the TW10 or TW15, or something from the 7000 or 8000 series will do well also. With the speed limits i think the IH won't do so well!

Hey jack, I heard last night that the Rae's are thinking of bringing a 966 also. We need to find someone with something like a 4020 or something to get in it also for a good brand competition.

Big MM like GB or GVI would do nicely. A few of the big Case machines could take it but I don't know as much about those. Massey 97 or 99. Oliver 99, 99Super, 990, etc.

How about a good ole kroutburner? She holds her own with the afore mentioned. Is this antique, classic or pull what you bring? Non turbo right?
