Going to have to widen some wheels for 18.4 s how wide should they be 20" or 22" Thanks

Wide Wheels, if you are going to machine cut these tires there is no advantage to going to any wider rim than an 18". The flat profile can be put on your tires without adding weight with the extra rim width. Some folks think that wider is better but if you go too wide the center of your tread can buckle up during a pull and make you lose traction. The 18" rims will allow a straight sidewall and eliminate this problem. Mike
