I have a 42 B that I want to stoke.(Maybe 7 to 7 1/2inches)I know I can go bigger but I want this tractor to last. I have IH 400 rods 520 pistons, pulling cam, DLXT71 carb. My question is when I get the crank done. Will the rods and pistons work, and what length do the rods have to be. I am only thinking of 9.5 to 1 comp-needs to be a gas burner. Plus what are some things you have ran into stroking B's. Your input will be greatly used thank you.

I don't know about in a B, but the rods we ran in our A weren't strong enough, so one bent pretty bad. The cam needed ground quite a bit, and since I don't know what the 400 rods look like, so i don't know what kinda clearance you would have...ask wtw on here..... .
