I have seen TIREDA pull and he is known around these parts as a whiner. I have a stone stock creaper gear B John Deere and of all the pulls I was at this year he only beat me once and that was on a tight power track. If I were him I would concider a stroker moter too... just to be competative with the AEATERUPPER!!!!

I would like to know how AEATERUPPER thinks his B
is stock. I seen this guy pull around. A stock B aint going to spin out in 7500lb must have $$$ than me. Some body should get him on a dyno. If i was runnin a pull i'd kick him out of stock class.
just my .02 worth.

Lynn, tell me a little more about your 8 3/8
combo. using 70 gas pistons? Stock rod length?
620 cam? head ported or big valved also? Our
'stock' Classes around here are getting a little
carried away. I've battled the stroker M'S AND U's and am sick of losing! thanks in advance.

was bored from the back to about 1 inch from the front so gasket would seal..used 930 case rod welded to a rod..been about 4 years but i think rod was around 14 1/2 to 15 inches..long enough to use the bottom ring..had spark plug welded shut and bored through to get rings past hole..spark plug in head..do it again would have spark plug hole welded up and use small plug to get ring to still come up and seal..had piston machined from top to first ring to fit in step in block then measured and cut some off top to get compression..8 3/8 crank just cut out back of case and grind on cam rods and top..used late model main housing so could get new bearing from john deere..had cam ground to my specs..added some to opening of intake and had more lift put in..head ported and larger valves..jerrys manifold would have used his head if he would have it at that time..51 carb..hot mag..retarded govenor one tooth so could retard mag timing after setting it on dyno..probably running around 18 degrees of timing..mark the mag timing and move the impulse lug forward to get the mag to impulse at top center to help starting..110 octane gas..lynn
