I have a heisler head for a 41 A JD. Does anyone know what kind of valves can be used in one, or where I can get Heisler valves for it at? Thanks.

I have put 70 valves in a A head. The stems have to be shortened and the valve angle is different. Had the head ground to match the valve.

Luke, Go to your John Deere dealer and order Model 70 (GAS) intake and exhaust valves as they will fit and work as a direct replacement for the "A" Hiesler valve without doing any modification to the head. The stems on the intakes may be a bit shorter but not enough to be an issue. Good Luck Dave W.
