Here's one of the newest modifieds in N.C. Not a modified man myself, but do enjoy all tractors. Even if it's only a grille and rearend.

To all who are knocking this tractor. it was built by a 16 year old with a love of tractors. The nose cone and the rear end were nothing but junk when he got them and he took the time and $$ to make something out of nothing. The hood as everyone is worried about was custom bent to look like a 820 hood. If you dont like this tractor keep your comments to yourself and be quiet and don't look. At least this 16 year old's mother and father knew where he has been spending all his time and effort the past 6 months of nights and weekends. By the way Casepower thanks for the publicity. The Stewart Brothers and Sons Pulling Team from NC really appreciate it. If any questions feel free to reply!!!!!

Yes, I have known where he was at for the last 7 years. Since he was about 9 years old he has been helping restore old John Deere tractors. He has helped completely restore three 820s, a 420, a 60. He has also helped with an A and G. He has help to restore other tractors for friends. He has been antique tractor pulling since he was 9 years old. And has won high points champion ever year since 1999 with a 1958 JD820 that was completely restored original. So he does love antique tractors. He has spent some quality time with his uncle, "PaPa Tint", and his father and other family members working on these tractors. He has learned some very good things while working on these tractors. He can sandblast, paint and do other things that I wouldn't have thought he would have been able to do. Remember, this is the next generation that will carry on the tradition of anitique tractors. Let's help keep the love of antique tractors and tractor pulling in them!!!

I like the tractor. It is what draws young people to the sport today. If they are not into the sport who will carry it on when we are gone. He with his family does very nice work on tractors. They have some of the nicest ones I have ever seen before. The boy is a old time tractor puller at heart. When you have won the points every year for the past four you can't help but want something bigger and better. He had a dream and he got it. The Stewart Brothers and Sons Pulling Team are at every tractor pull. Pulling a G, A, and two 820's. You always see the family together and having a great time. They are one of the nicest families around. I think you all did a good job on Git R Done. Maybe some of you others are just upset that a 16 year old has something most grow men don't have.

That is not in any way a 820 converted to V8. There is no two cylinder crankcase/transmission there. It's just rail framed dragster with some HD stick shift rear axle. And the nose piece/ hood from an 820.

It might not be a 820 rear-end assembly. But there has been a mod pulling in ND since the mid 60's using a JD "D" rear-end with a cross-mounted 428 Ford. Never say no way.

Looking at the picture that is not a cross shaft tranmission, there is no 90 degree drive at the input. The main case is too narrow and the shifter is in the wrong place for the R,80,820,830 and 840 transmission style.

Best looking JD I ever seen. Sure wish I could here it run, it's bound to sound better than it did when it was a two banger. I just received my first Old Power Pride magazine. It was real nice.

Hey, Why don't you lay off? I get Old Power Pride magazine and it is one of (if not) the best publication out there. If you read something in it you don't like take it up with CASEPOWER by e-mail. I see no advertising here and trying to hurt a mans business is just wrong. Do you even get his magazine?

I agree. I get it too and it is a very good one. And I don't see any ads here neither. Keep up the good work Casepower.

I struck a nerve I see- I thought using such a sneaky way to get free advertising was pretty clever! And thanks for the compliment on the other board- this old ugly farmer is flattered you would think I still had a set of lug nuts as young and well-greased as G-Man. But I ain’t him.
