Does anybody have any good tips about how to break in a freshly built big cubic inch Oliver motor before pulling??

Keep an eye on the oil. change it frequently for the first few runs, as it breaks in, metal shavings will be present, if you cannot dyno it, get it warmed up, and periodically increase rpm in stages, for about 1-2 hours to seat the rings, watch out if it starts to surge, you don't want that to happen on a new engine, especially an Oliver. Keep an eye on the oil, and filter for the first few runs, Hope this helps, Chad
