hey Adem, would you like to back up your statement on jd and farmall pullers? You said that they dont know enuogh about the game to make them pull properly. I am a 19 year old collage student and pull a 1937 jd model A. I can bet that I can make anything thing pull and be very competive. I may be young but i am very sharp. And another thing, I dont pull a John Deere just becouse I dont know the game. I pull it becouse It can win.

Just a little back ground on my pulling.... 1st place many time in the state with my John Deere.... 2 state wins with a 1936 oliver 80 std...which I made many hod rod parts for. And also my sister, who is 16 has won many first places on a 1952 case LA qhich has also won the state many times also.

I am not bad mouthing any type of tractor. but i am very upset at you comment. I can not beleive that it did not start world war 3 in this forum. I enjoy the game and know it very well and am very competive in the state of colorado. My main game is to make a tractor that is normally not very competive and make it pull to the best of its ability. wether it is a case, John Deere, olover, or evan some of brand like Co-op.

I hop you reconsider you statement and relize that people pull what they like wether it is a provine winner or not.

Here ya go JD puller. I am gonna tell you one thing. I feel I am wasting my time backing myself up to a remedial college student that cannot even spell my first name right. Anyhow, if you had read the post correctly you would have seen that I meant no disrespect to the red and green. Some of my pulling buddies fly those colors. I simply said and I quote, "more times than not the red and green pullers don't know enough about the sport to build themselves a competitive tractor. That is why you will see a whole bunch of them at a pull and only one or two do any good. If an underdog brand puller comes in and knows his stuff, then the competition is in trouble. That has been my experience anyhow." By saying that, I meant there are some tough red and green tractors out there, and I have been beat by some of them, but a large percentage of the time they are guys like you. In my personal opinion, which I believe I am entitled to, you better re-torque your head, cause you blew a gasket for no damned reason. I would also like to thank casepuller and old man for telling it as it should be in my absence.

Adam,I read your post that started this and I cant see why people got so bent out of shape.I live about (30) miles from you and used to do alot of pulling in SW Missouri before I quit in 1986.I work with a friend of yours(Matt B.) and I told him about this so he may be asking you.Good luck pulling those Cases.Your name is listed on Photo Joes website showing the Missouri State Fair 2000 and 2001 winners.I used to farm with a 2390 Case and pulled alot with a 1938 L Case,38 UTS MM,and others.I also used to pull a 856 IH against your relations 1070 Case from Aurora.

Thanks for the post. I think people look for things to get excited about on here. I haven't seen Matt for a while, I guess since El Do had there pull back in Sept or so. The ol 1070 you are talking about belonged to my uncle. That has been several years ago. I never got to see it pull, but I heard plenty of stories about it. I'll talk to ya later. Once again, thanks for the post.

Well besides you not being able to spell, you are also a cry baby. Braggin about how you can make anything pull is real mature. I am only 19 years old to and i have been pullin since i was 11, but i dont brag about anything, especially on this forumn, cause there is always gonna be someone better, and knows alot more then me. If you think your John Deere is so good why dont you put it in the open class. Thats where the pullin is.

sorry for the spelling. but you know i am still very insulted by adam's comment and know by your comment. Is this room full or rude people know or what? Just because a person cant spell means that he can't pull good? Not every one can spell as good as some people but that doesnt hurt their ability to have fun and be competive in pulling.

The comment was:I hope you can pull better than you can spell. Not you can't pull if you can't spell. It appears you have trouble reading to. Try paying more attention in english class, it may help.

I am 14 and have pulled since i was 12. I can make a John Deere A pull with any farm stock pullers you put me up to. I'll GARENTEE I will beat the "off" brands 9 times out of 10 at a horsepower pull, and 8 times out of 10 in a speed limit pull. the "off" brands have too much weight up in the frount to be able to ballence it correctly. I pull in the 4000#, 4500#, 5000#, 5500#, 6000#, 6500#, and 7000# with this A. and It pulls like no other MOST of the time!

well, I am to a point, but we don't go all the time. 1 night, at evert, we took a friend of mine pulling for the first time. He got 2nd, I got 1st, dad got 1st, then the following night we all got first in the first 3 classes we pulled it in, and 3rd in the 7000# with a 4000# tractor.
so, it's fairly consistant, but then someone dumped water in the gas, and sand, dad wanted to bust that guy's nose! the first pull of the year I got 1st in the 9000# with a .090 G and the carb load jet vibrated in, the "ball" that stops the jet vibrated out. so, it "poped" like a 30-06 rifle and killed! the G runs 68hp, and the A runs 50hp
JOhn
write again!
I lide conversations!
