I have two 1206's I farm with. Both are running over 130 horses and are stout.I have never pulled them but back in the 70's and 80's I pulled an 856 alot.

The one 1206 I bought off a guy that pulled a pro-field 1206 at 400 horses. He told me the 1206 I was getting had been overhauled 40 hours ago but little did I know it was an old pulling motor that I was getting.I used it 100 hours and had to ring it,put in all new exhaust valves and seats, and it needed all new rod and main bearings. It really needed sleeves and pistons too.It burns 2qts of oil per day but I only use it 100 hours per year.It pulls a 21ft Krause disk easy in high 1st.

Back in the late 60's the 1206's were unbeatable at the tractor pulls.I was 16 when they came out in the fall of 1965.They are my all time favorite tractor.
