Does anyone know what time Shelbyville's pull starts? What about a rain date? Looks kinda wet around here. Just thought I'd go try my luck and pull somewhere different. Lots of Farm Stock tractor I here?

They do have the farm stocks, 25-40 per class. I haven't heard anything on a rain date.

The pull normally starts at 1:00, but will start early Sat. to finish the classes that didn't pull last month after the sled broke. They will pull the 6500 and up April classes first starting at noon(can only pull these classes if you were signed up when sled broke) and then drop back and start the May classes. No rain date yet---will pull if at all possible. Would like to go there, but plan on going to JAKE'S benifet pull. Good folks and pull at Shelbyville.

Are they using the sled they were working on a few years ago? How is it doing?

Yes it's the sled that they worked off and on for a good while. Normally does real well. The weigh box part does very good, but the self-propel part sometimes has problems. Usually minor stuff, but last month a bearing in the transmission seazed up. Beleive they installed another trans. and it's ready to go.

I guess I did fairly well for the first time out. I won the 4500 with dad's tractor and blowed the horn in the open class. I got educated by 30 ft. in the F.S. class. They better enjoy that one! LOL!! Did get to pull a friend MM U in the open classes, pretty fun ride!! Come abd see us sometime!! How is everything out your way?

If I can't do any better than I did this past weekend, I don't need to waste my gas. I guess I let my priorities swap directions over the winter. It only took one butt whipping like I recieved to get them back on track!! We might have to load up and come out there, I'm ready for a change of scenery.

Finally started raining hard enough that they stopped pulling in the middle of the 7500FS class. Will pull the last 3 May classes at the start of June's pull at 12noon.

Sorry we didn't make it this weekemd, the threat of rain kept us in the shed. Kind of a long trip for a rainout. We'll try for the June pull. Thanks for the updates.
