You might as well eliminate the governor and run it direct. The governor is your best freind in pulling, and it has to operate correctly, otherwise it will make it more difficult to operate down the track. I done that with the wire on the spring, but went out hooked and sure it pulled well, but when I got rid of the wired spring, and got it right, it took the guess work out of it. Just open her up, and pull. the governor, if you make it sensitive to recognize rpm changes on the track, and will change rpm to adapt the load, whether it is just off idle, or wide open. it is more than that,, you have idle, and wide open but nothing in between those 2 points, and that is where you see the difference. The springs I have will do you justice, it will make the governor more sensitive, and responcive, and give you the in between performance a puller needs to go down the track. night and day difference in it. Try one of them if you like! Chad
