Question to those that have knowledgeable answers, is there a difference in the 560 LP head and the standard 560 Gas head? I have the access to one and didn't know if it would help out someone that needs one for pulling? Thanks in advance to those that help.

That head increases compression combined with LP intake will increase HP.

OMP, I tore a 560 lp apart, it has high domed factory pistons to make the compression change in the engine, yes, the intakes are a bit larger, ports on the head are the same, the heads are the same casting in the compression chamber. look in the I&T shop manual for the 460-560, the compression difference is 20 psi difference between the gas, and lp models, the difference is in the pistons. If you want to see a 6 cyl head that will make power, have a look at the truck heads, darn near flat in the chamber!! I have one too,, LOL. They are so small of a chamber, that dome pistons can not be used, only flat tops. Hope this helps, Chad
