I just recieved a message from Marty Feldpausch. The new Clintonia cut tire classes will be using NATPA rules on everything except speed limit. I guess there was some confusion. I am not real familiar with NATPA, so I will keep you guys posted. Hope to see everyone on May 16 in Fowler, MI!!!!! Bring whatcha got!

I think it was NATPA regs for the guys that pull somewhere else (like NATPA) the day before. This was also decided because they wanted to include a shutoff switch and wheelie bars for more saftey. Once again bring whatcha got. We got a spot for almost everyone's machine. If you wanna try and get away with things, it would be tough because the rules are pretty clear.

I think if those guys want to pull NATPA go pull NATPA. Why should everyone else conform for them. As for saftey,it is more dangerous loading and unloading. Dont blow smoke.

Hey buddy, no one has to conform to jack squat. These guys do pull NATPA, then come home to pull the next day locally. Wheelie bars work. If things go ok, we'll tweak it for next year. We've never had this class, so we are not offering anything less than we had before. Funny how clubs offer more, and there's always belly-aching. No one's making you do anything you don't want to do.

That being said, I read your comment about where pulling came from. Point well taken IH and I have to agree. We pushed to get the Farm Stock Class created in our club to keep just straight good old machines coming. So far it worked ok. That's how it all started right? Neighbor's rivalry so to speak. The stock class will be safe so far as I can keep the hot fellas from tweaking it until it's just like other classes. Sounds like that's your style of pulling? Hope it stays around! I got two tractors just for keeping bone stock.
