Patience and good working brakes on the sled will be needed to ensure a smooth running pull this weekend. Be prepared for long days when the trucks and big tractors can't be stopped!

Be safe.

I HAVE ENJOYED PULLING WITH CATPA SEVERAL TIMES AND NEVER BEEN PROTESTED AND ALWAYS BEEN TREATED FAIR. I'VE ALSO SEEN THE SLED STOP SOME 14000 LB TURBO CLASSES . DIDN'T SEEM TO HAVE ANY TROUBLE AND I DID NOT SEE THEM GO UP WITH THE CHAIN. BUT THEY DID HAVE A SMALLER SLED FOR THE LIGHT CLASSES AND MAY HAVE HAD THE CATPA YELLOW SLED LOADED HEAVIER THAN WHEN THEY USE IT FOR THE LIGHT CLASSES TOO. LOOKING FORWARD TO PULLING IN OAKBORO THIS WEEK END. TX, DR SR

Well said Danny, and I agree with your statements. I can read between the lines and know where those other statements are coming from. Can you say "sour grapes". And I will add that Oakboro is one of the finest facilities that we go to with any association. I will not be a bit supprised to see 15-20 tractors in some classes.

I've only pulled one time with CATPA, but it was a good experience. With the rising cost of fuel I'm mighty glad to see a pull close to home. Hoping to make it sat and sun, and hoping for a good crowd and some good competition.
