does anyone know the center to center lenghth of con rods in a 292 chevy? how about the 250? thanks Paul

The 292 rod is 6.76" c-c. The big end is for a 2.1" crank journal. The 250 rod is 5.7". I have a 292 rod you could have for shipping +

Isn't the 292 rod shorter than the 230/250 rod? Same trick they did with the 400 Chev to keep the same piston pin height.

The 292 is a tall block and long stroke. They used the longer rod. I was looking at using them for my project at one time.
