The 12 port head refered to in the rules is the one from the 1800 that is sometimes used on an 88 block or one of the 7 main oliver blocks.

I've never been to a tractor pull but they sound very interesting and hope to see one this summer. You folks are very clever with the written word I find your barbs quite amusing.

Go to the NATPA web site for a copy of the rules. No one will object to an oliver 70 with a stock head. aRt

NATPA is ran by Oliver people. If you show up with an Oliver you will be in Fine shape. Don't worry about the situation.

From the very beginning of the NATPA the Oliver and Moline tractors were and are really the only ones with restrictions on the use of factory available parts.

The NATPA has always been for JOHN DEERE all the rules are more less non existant for them. One of the officers was caught cheating at Wichita last year and he was pulling on a DEERE. Keep watching and you will see what I am talking about.

Ken;
Just to set the record straight - the current 9 NATPA Board members own and pull the following tractors: 4 pull John Deere; 2, Olivers; 1, AC; 1, Minnie Mo; 1, Farmall. Two of their family members pull a Ford and an Oliver. Best check with Steve Beckley or Ron McCormick who run the Tech committee. You can find their numbers on the contacts page of the NATPA web site.
