If you are going to stroke it and get the displacement up decent, a heisler head with a 2 barrel adapted to it will run VERY WELL. The 60 head would need the runners cut out so each cylinder can suck off both barrels. Also, the eyebrow on a cyclone head blocks off half the valve and kills airflow. Depending on the stroke, he heisler would make it easier to get the compression up where you need it since you cant shove the piston as far up in a power block as a Deere block. If you are going to stroke it 1.5 inches, you might as well go ahead and make it big (9.250" ish) the first time around. It doesnt cost that much more to go big once you are getting a crank made.

If you are going to go to all that work to make power, get it ALL, with a FULL Custom valve job with contoured valves and seat/throat angling, to create a Venturi effect at the seat.. This will do as much as a cam, and with a cam will do even that much more.. I will be posting pictures of my valves I did for my 630..see what you think when you compare tham with stock valves... Ron.
