Gary, I pull with my stock 1940 JD H. In many ways it is more fun to pull than my bigger tractor. I belted up to a Baker Fan so that I could adjust the carb with the tracter under full load. I made some spacers to raise the drawbar about 2", and I use about 7 psi in the rear tires. That setup usually gets the front end to lift during the last 10 feet or so. Have fun!

hay phil
it's good to here that I'm not the only one
crazy enough in to play with the little h
I pulled a case vac for many years
recently started playing with the little John Deere everyone thinks I might as well step up to a different model
something with more power I've done a lot of work on this little tractor
trying to make it competitive
everyone tells me you just cannot produce the power you need out of it
I'm having a great time proving them wrong
I'm not one that likes to really modify a nice old tractor
but this little h I found
had every problem in the world with it
so it was a good experimental tractor I thought
I've been doing fairly well with it
having a blast I think there should be a place
for every model tractor to pull in
you have any photographs of yours?
like to see them gary.
