Danny, I too talked to Jerry this afternoon. I am convinced that if we don’t do something with a rules committee that we won’t be pulling tractors with the CCFM as we know it much longer. This whole thing is supposed to be enjoyable for all involved and at this point some of the key people have had just about enough.

With that said I have talked to some of the guys and everybody seems open to the idea of a rules committee. We need to set up a meeting and get a cross section of our “club” involved so that we stay away from accusations of having a click. If we enforce rules by a group or committee they will have more staying power than just everybody complaining to the guys who own the sleds. You and Jerry have enough on your minds on pull days without having to play traffic cop as well.

Count me in, I’m willing to do whatever it takes to make it work.

I would really like to have a rules committee but i don't think it will happen. Something should have been done a long time ago about this stuff. I feel that the people that are complaining the most are the ones that are cheating the most and still not getting anywhere as far as winning. I know that isn't everything but for some it is for some reason. I also feel that the major problem is that only some of the rules are being enforced. when it comes to the speed limit that we now have that is taking over. When it comes to others like different engine blocks, rpms, shaved tires, etc nothing is being done about it. No matter what happens some people will not be happy that is a given. But we should enforce all rules the same to be fair to everyone.
