Farmall H without sleeves?.

I had a friend suggest that I'd be better off not to use sleeves at all in my farmall H block. I was going to get some thinner sleeves and bigger pistons to increase displacement and gain more torque, but his suggestion does interest me. The big question is how well the engine would hold up, and will I have big time overheating issues without sleeves.
Thanks in advance!.

I have no sleeves with 3 3/4 pistons in my H with no overheat problems at all. Remember, there are alot of engines without sleeve and thinner cylinder walls (automotive etc). If you want decent hp, you don't want sleeves.
