What are the rules for the classes where you pull? If they call for stock rpm no turbo you could do ok , 1030's are pretty good on torque , but if you can run a turbo I don't think you can compete with the 4020's and the 806-966 even at stock rpm's . The indirect injection system of the Case's at that time limits you . The inline Bosch pump is lots better than the Rossa Master of the 4020 but the rest of the system limits you . I saw a 1030 run with the 70 series setup on it but that was in a modified farm stock class as they called it , like I said before it all depends on what the rules are .

Stick in a 504 turbo turn up the fuel and they wont touch that kind of power. But can you get away with it only if they let you run a turbo.

Totally agree , I think that's what the 1030 I saw has , but that's why I asked what the rules are , farm stock covers lots of things sometimes , around here anyway seems like they are getting carried away .
