what is the big deal with the heisler heads? What do they have over a stock JD head? what do they look like? does anyone have pics they could show me the looks?

I don't remember if you are working on an A or B but one other option you might think about is I have seen a later model A with a 60 head and duplex carb makes for a good running tractor and them parts aren't to hard to find I can't say for sure but the same swap might be possible for a later model B

A heisler head swirls the fuel mixture and looks basically like a factory JD head. It has more ports to allow the swirl process. May have H stamped in with the part number can't remember for sure though. Have a 41 A I am putting together with a heisler head and manifold and powerblock. so it's like the swirl head, but with bigger ports? what about the valve thinds I hear on this board about? Why is that a factor? It has bigger diameter or something?
