Just wondering how much boost a standard 3LM schwitzer has. It is going on a 1206. I can"t tell what exhaust housing it has.

If anybody has a ballpark figure it would be great.

Thanks.

Chad

Thanks.

That is a lot of boost-don't think I push enough fuel for that kind of boost.

i"m not trying to lip off here, but if you are getting that kind of boost at that rpm you have some real live problems with air flow in your head.

depends on how much fuel it is getting, but a ballpark would be in the mid to low teens.

the 400 cc would be a full blown pulling pump, and i just can"t see why the boost would get that high.
given enough fuel i would say a actual 30-35 psi should be possible, but in field i would say more like 20 psi max.

I have a simular pulling pump that delivers around the 400 cc mark, and making 45psi boost(and more) depending on conditions. Granted, not a stock 3lm turbo though.

the head on our 856 has been ported to the max big valves and a cam to match 407 cubes and the 3lm is right out of the box. we would like to go with something a little better but for the money that is hard to beat. we pull with some guys that run holsets and they are better but more$. with a stock pump 15psi would be about max.

856 puller. We have also used a Holset. Drop me your phone or e-mail. I would like to compare notes sometime.
