Are the traction torque's a better choice the super torque(found some road worn ones, traction)?I have seen several power torques on pullers and are they even better than the traction torque's?I remember hearing about the dyna's calling them dyna slips so I stay away from them.Currently running supers and no luck getting them to hook.Just need a little input here. Thanks fellas.

I run Traction Torques on our UB. Wish Goodyear still made them. I do best on crappy tracks. I can claw and climb through uneven or loose things (1st gear) and place in the top three. On the club"s wet clay track we don"t do as well. They were loaded on 14" rims and wore very flat and sharp before we used them for pulling. Other pullers do well too. My fear is that the bar is a little too wide and the tread should be a little angled back more if cut. Maybe stays on top too much for wet clay. Never tried Power Torques. May I suggest you seek some Armstrong or Titan tires? They may do well for you! I am trying cut Deep Tread Firestones next on the hard clay. Stiffer and more bars!

Well I have these located and are easy to access(traction torques)and my wheels are painted and ready. These looked to be very short but wide and looked to be loaded and run on the road a lot(very sharp tread). Most of our tracks are make shift and can be crappy, blade and pull. Now I have been to some winter indoor pulls that really hook up I guess they had dirt hauled in.How did yours pull on the indoor tracks?Later,Jack(TN).

I pulled on an indoor track once on motocross sand (unusual stuff). Ran 5 lbs in my 15.5 Armstrongs and took second only because my tractor popped out of gear. You should do ok with what you do. Are you hot rodding or doing speed limit classes? Indoor dirt is hauled in soit isn"t as solid. Ours TTs are road wore too. Maybe try them on indoor next Spring. I pull pretty local for now. One indoor track in Ionia, MI to try not too far away.

I will be using them on a Super 88 Oliver on 14 inch pressed steel wheels. Our pulls are outdoors unless I haul it to Fruitland MO or take it to Tunica MS in December.I pull farm 3.5 mph, sometimes 4mph depending on what the track rules are.Right now the Super torques are on 11 inch rims and cast centers and absolutly don't cut the mustard, too much cleat I believe cause they really stack the dirt in front of the pan.

What is a Super Torque? I know long/short bar do not work well for the most part unless you are farming.

14 in rims will help, Air them up tight (18lbs) and let out for track conditions-more for hard, less for crappy. Hope to see you at Tunica.

Used old tubes and guess what, got up this morning and both were flat.New tubes on the way.Hey Sweeper,it will have something awful or catastrophic to keep me from going to Tunica.I have been going faithfully for four years now. That pull is by far my favorite.Be talking to ya later,Jack(TN).
