I need a new motor in my 1206 and "somebody" told me that I can run a DT 407 crank in a my DT 361 block to get it to a 407-longer stroke (besides it seems impossible to find a 407 in my area). I don't know that much about this so any help is great. I figure sense I am going through the motor I will try to get some more out of it. Any other tricks to get hp out of that DT 361 would be great. The tractor will be pulling "farm stock" so I don't want to go too wild. I know you guys don't like to give out secrets but I need all the help I can get.

Thanks again for any help.

Chad

Chad, I don't remember his name, but last weekend at Lanesville, IN pull there was a 1206 that was just AWESOME in the classes he pulled in. If anyone knows who that might have been, maybe they can give you some contact information. I don't know what his secret is, but he was darned impressive.
