ha sanyone built some pullers from military or industrial tractors? Maybe an orchard model? After stripping off the extra weight, I think it would be a machine with some character. Olive drab puller? Just curious. A UMIL MM or UTI would be cool.

we pull a 31 case CO, without fenders, a friend has a 600 case that was industrial, it pulls well. another friend has a industrial deere 830, real strong, he also has a 840 with deere pan, he hasn't pulled it but it is a idea.

If you can find a Deere 840I, (with all the original gears) bet that would pull well, particularly in a dead weight pull. Might be too heavy for many weight classes.

I've always wanted to see an 840 pull myself. There's one just a few miles from here still attached to the Hancock scraper. It would probably take major work to get it back in shape, but what a horse that would be. You wouldn't be hauling it around behind a 1/2 ton pickup on a car trailer, lol. I'm guess that with all the scraper-hitch parts on it and all, it would probably weight 10,000 or more. I think I have an operator's manual for one at home. I'll have to look up the weights.

A lot of club rules say AG. tractors only. So industral, military, etc. wouldn't be allowed.
