IS THERE A WAY TO (BY MATH FORMULA) FIGURE OUT BARREL PRESSURE BEFORE AN ENGINE IS CREATED ?

FARMALL SUPER-M

IF I WANT TO CREATE 200PSI BARREL PRESSURE IN A CONFIGURATION OF !
4.30 BORE X 5.75 STROKE !
HEAD MEASURES 180CC
HEAD GASKET 18.6893 CC'S NOT CRUSHED !
STROKE 1368.69 CC'S IF I WERE RUNNING A FLAT TOP PISTON, I WOULD HAVE A COMPRESSION RATIO OF 180CC + 18.6893CC +1368.69CC'S = 1567.3793 DIVIDED THAT INTO COMBUSTION CHAMBER 198.6893 = A COMPRESSION RATIO OF 7.8885-1 . IS THEIR A WAY TO CALCULATE WHAT THAT COMPRESSION RATIO WOULD GIVE FOR BARREL PRESSURE ! STOCK 400-450 CAM ! 400-450 GAS HEAD ! HEAD CLEANED UP WITH A GOOD VALVE JOB.
450 GAS MANIFOLD !
I UNDERSTAND WHAT BARREL PRESSURE IS, BUT HOW IS A SPECIFIC NUMBER CREATED

THANK YOU !

I don"t think you can calculate cranking pressure, at least without knowing head/intake system flow data, and camshaft specs. Even with those numbers, it would take an engineer to do it. Just for instance, I changed from a stock cam to one with about 40* more intake duration and 10* more exhaust duration, advanced the centerline 10*, and went from 290 psi to 230 psi at cranking speed. nothing else was changed. Someone with a similar setup to yours should be able to give a ballpark figure. Mike
