That was a pretty good run you made in 5200 super even if you did take the "long way" down the track. Just don't let any of us catch you throwing those 100 lb weights around by yourself again. Give us a holler and we'll be glad to help.

You did the right thing if you had stopped at the 50ft line and then started over you may not have had as good a pull, ya'll sure put on a good show pulling at 4100lbs.

It's all LW's fault!! I told him front wheel drive wouldn't work, but he just wouldn't listen. It pulls very good in reverse though. Very helpful when backing up to the sled while in the mud. Also the rear crossmount engine idea really didn't help with the weight transfer and I just don't like sitting on the valve cover. Though the vibration is kinda like taking viagra..

LW If you talk to Casepower, please have him call me about some 101 massey hubs. Pinkpower and I are needing hubs, cast hubs are not holding on the 101, top link is splitting in half. I might need weld-on hubs for this old girl.

Casepower,

I might need the axels latter on. They will come off with a puller most of the time. I need another F-226 motor or 243! I will be able to come over any time this week.

Thanks, Bryant

770, does your 101 have a chrysler or continental? Brother in law has some parts for 101, and the chryslers, food for thought. He built a stroker in his 101, and got alot better! needs a gear reduction starter though. it has some compression. ChadS

Chad, Iam running the continental 226,running in 3rd gear. Rust in the tank and hubs have been the biggest problems. I will be making another 101, for my wife, but I have a 243 for it. It will be over 300 when I get it together. Pulled Sat. got 3rd in super, pulled it back half throttle in 2nd, thats not going to win. The 101 massey my wife will be driving will have the original spoke wheels, and wants to paint it pink. She should get into the 3500# class with ease, running 13.8 on the rear, she only weighs 115# s . The nane that she wants on the tractor is Pinkpower. With her driving a pink tractor down the track, and beating out old pullers around here, should make it fun next year. I will post pics when it is put together. I would like to see the tractor in the right color, but it is her project, I am only doing the motor, and carb. I need alot of different parts for both tractors.
I can not find your # Email me your #, or call me

ChadS3@hotmail.com 574-893-7437. Will pass on his number to you. 3rd gear huh? His 101 has the fast tranny, 2nd gear with 15.5.s is about 5.5 mph in his, he has been thinking of changing ring and pinion out, maybe one from a 44. to slow it down a bit. ChadS
