I'm building a 51 G for pulling. Getting head work done on it right now. My question is, has anyone tried to put larger intake valves and seats in a cyclone head? This shoud increase flow, correct? Can it be done, or is it something I shoudn't think about?

You could try opening up that "eyebrow" up another 3/8" dia right to the edge of the combustion chamber gasket. That way the airfuel mixture can sneak out that 3/16" gap half way around the valve.

I think that valves are pretty closely matched to the port size, so you'd have to do some porting to see real gains with bigger valves. Apparently simply gasket-matching the intake and head and doing some mild port work will increase flow pretty well, so bigger valves might not be worth the money and hassle. Particularly for a stock-cube engine. Big strokers need all the flow they can get.
