What fun is it if you dont let a Case detroit pull with the rest of the tractors. What is different in the case than an "A"john deere with a powerblock or an "M" Farmall with 400 sleeves and pistons. A farmer could do the conversion in the 50's, so it still is a antique farm tractor. Anyone with one of these tractor will have to come to one of the pulls listed above and we will let you pull with the rest of us.

Almost every set of Antique pulling rules has a stipulation stating No engine conversions. We would certainly give you a courtesy pull though, as long as you followed all of the safety rules.

I have seen a few of these around, never seen one pull. The engine used I think was a 3-71 capable of 120 hp or more. I would not mind to run against it with my 990 GM , everybody else shouldn't either. Everytime I pull my 990 or 1950 they always say that the gms have no torque or that they make torque threw rpms. Bull cocka. These engines were designed in the late thirties and for that time are very impressive to me. They used 8v71 to haul cummins and cat parts back in the day. Go for it and have fun. JT

One of those showed up a coupla/few years back at the Boonville Mo show. The fellers that owned it had just bought it out of a fencerow somewhere in southeastern Kansas. They spent several hours workin on it one afternoon at the show - rewired it, cleaned out the fuel system etc. They finally got it goin good enough to run it through the parade. It looked like it would have some serious potential as a pullin tractor.

I think you could pull it down here, but I expect that they'd make you run the open class.

Ask you to be the pull-back tractor! We would
let you pull, but you would have to have a working
pto and could not exceed 10 HP per 1000 lb. of
tractor weight, just like everybody else. Good
luck.
