Looking for a ring and pinion that will speed up my 560. I am currently running in 3rd and 4th at 5700# with a small block chevy turning 7500 RPM"s. Would like to speed it up so I wouldn"t have to use 4th gear. Anybody have any suggestions?

use a 450 pinion shaft and your 560 gears they all have 49 tooth ring gear this will give you what you want the 560 has a 15 tooth pinion. 560 utility has a 16 tooth pinion, and the 450 19 tooth pinion

If you want to keep the original 560 trans/axel case, you can install the SMTA, 400-450 gear set. I did the opposite on my SMTA to slow it down. The 560 gears installed in the earlier tractors slow them down by about 4-5 mph in road gear. Email me for a price on my surplus ring gear/mainshaft.

A utility ring and pinion would speed it up too. it is the same thing as swapping the M- with a W6 ring and pinion. Might drop you back to 2nd, or 3rd easily. ChadS
