Just built a Allis WC that is 420 cubes. Is there any gear reduction starters or do I have to build a decompressor for it. Thanks in advance Steve

Hey Back in Orange, my dad's WC is back in the shop for a winter rebuild. I would like to talk to you about your setup if you don't mind sharing. Please e-mail me at anothertractor@cs.com

Thanks

The best way is to convert the tractor over to a 24 volt system. With 24 volts hitting the starter there is no reason for a compression release or the gear reduction starter. I have a compression release for sale if you want one.
