Does anybody have any info about installing a reduction gear in a G. I've seen them on A's but was curious about a G. Any info is appreciated.

I thought about getting one for my G, but the ones I saw were exspensive. Spend your money on other things or get smaller tires. I like the high fast gear (mine goes a hair under 4 mph) cause it gives you more momentum to pull the sled. IMHO

Droopy, are you spinning out or choking? If your spinning out, don't worry about it. I was talking to a guy who helps me gets parts for my tractor. That's where my head, block, pistons, clutch parts and other parts I'm sure of. If your choking, I'll ask the guy when the reduction gear stuff is.

I have a Johnson cold gas. Power is not the porblem, traction is. The cub I pull with does not permit cut tires. DREW

What size tires do you have? E-mail me at mgd2007@msn.com and I'll tell you how to sharpen tires w/o cutting them. I have 16.9-34's on my G.

I was at a pull with my g last weekend ,and a man told me that he had taken the large gear to the rear of the clutch off an A ,and had the crankshaft gear made to mesh with the gear off of the A.
