Does anyone know of the different antique/old tractor pulling classes around eastern/central Kentucky? What are the weight classes? Thanks

Hey Smoker, I just got the website for the Central Ky. Antique Pullers, which is the Twin Lakes (Leitchfield) and Old Iron (Hart Co.) clubs pulling page. We will be having 10 points pulls this season (schedule to be updated soon) and several other pulls during the year at Leitchfield. We would love to have you come pull with us, in the points or just for fun. The link to the new site is: Link Check back often--I'll be updating with the schedule and each of the pull results. If you have questions feel free to email me. The more the merrier!! We usually have several tractors that pull in our 8500# and 9500# classes.

I'm in London. More eastern than central. Thanks for the reply. I'm hunting for a weight class that I can pull my JD R in a few times to see how it does. I'm more partial to pulling my diesel truck but I think I will give my tractor a shot once I get it running.

your r will run in 85 and 9500lb classes, unless you go with pressed steel rims, and take off a few unessential items for pulling you can get into 7500

there are a few around south central, ky. Old Iron of South central ky, based in Hart Co. and twin lakes, based in grayson, one more in temple hill, can't remember the name of it. all three clubs have adopted the same rules this year, and are going to pull for points this year. You do not have to be a member to pull or participate in the points. USAP is a good club to pull with. they do have a website on antiquetractorpulling.com . you can email me for what classes you are interested in and the rules for each class

I am part of the club over at temple hill, this year we are pulling for points. I have never do that before, but I think it will work.

There will be two pulls that I know of, one in the spring, and one in the fall, around sept.

I have been to the one in the fall. Did not get to go last year. Glad to hear they are having one in the spring. Keep me posted on the spring pull.
