Can anybody give me any info on the Thompson Rocket governor? Does it come in kit form, and how expensive? Address and phone # of the company? Does anybody have any experience with this setup? My stock governor is a little sluggish. I know I need to do something I just don't know what. Any advice { other than switching to deere} appreciated.

Thanks fellers

The Thomson rock-it governor is manufactured by Extra Power Enterprises 40 South woodland Ave. Waynesburg PA,15370-1722.PH.724-627-6966.The last one I bought was about 2 years ago through IH dealer,around$450.00 easy to install.Advertised HP increase of 20 percent which I thought was a little overated.

How did it perform TL? Do you think it was worth the $450? I appreciate the address and ph #.

I put it in a super m that I still use.At times it seem unhandy when you are backing up,it wants to surge. The dealer I bought it from put one in a 300 and almost ran through his barn.As for being worth the price,I'm not sure what they cost now,but I would buy another one, especially if the original needs any work.
