What have you had to do, how many cubes? what kind of RPM, and weight? What is the biggest problem you encountered (other than empty pockets, finding "A" stuff, and upset spouses)
Ever beat up oliver 88's in 5500 -6000 Div4?
There has got to be someone out there who can tell me a bit...AC

Pulled a "U" allis in antique 4mph classes 4500 and 5500. Hard too balance so short. Stock very short on power, upped the comp and works good. Not comperable to a worked over A JD or M. Fast gears and Short rubber hurts, single brake doesnt help either. Fun to pull the old girl though. Would love to stroke it but think it might be a beast to start with much more comp.

I"ve pulled a 37 "A" for 20 years now. Wish I knew when I started what I know now about the tractor! It"s always been very competitive but has done really well in the 4mph. classes 5500-7500 in the last 10 years. We can"t always get in the 5500 class due to variations of scales, I"d have to say that the 6500 has been its best class. It"s bored and stroked with JD pistons, it could be even bigger but I don"t have the $$$ to spend on it. It"s been a blast for me and my son, especially at USAP Princeton, In. We are just 50mi. from there and have many placings in the top 5. Can"t wait to try a new set of Firestones Thanksgiving weekend.

Do you know where I can find any engines or etc...
where they JD B pistons? Do you crank it by hand to get it going? What if any was the biggest setback to hardest thing to modify on that tractor? I am REALLY thinking about trying to get one together, so any help would be appreciated...AC
