spin out in first every time and on any track and in second cant seem to keep rpms up on account of speed limit thinking smaller rim in second gear help oland

I went to a 16X9-34 fron a 14.9X38 tire a few years ago. In a "packed" or more clay-like track, I was really impressed....Though in the light classes it seems the narrower tire will still suprise you. I"m also a believer in the old 45 dgree pattern....Old timers are smarter than people know.....Just an idea.....

I think you will find that 34 inch tires are almost as tall as the 38 inch.

I have in old m@w book and the tire height on a 16.9-34 are 62.0 and the 14.9-38 are 64.0 per m@w book. I hope this info helps you

16.9/34 is same height as a 15.5/38 but wider with more side wall. be carefull with tire pressure! if you live by the extra sidewall, you'll die with it aswell. S.S.
