Is there any way to re-temper the draw bar
on a '70 or re-inforce it and still be able
to slide it in and out or should I try to find
another drawbar? Mine is flexing really bad in
the center position and all the way in is too
tight to turn with the big trailer.
Appreciate some suggestions. Thanks . pb

Which model is your 70 & what class? Our 70Gas rollo-matic rowcrop has no problems in the 6500lb class with the drawbar as short as possible. Front will lift at track end if traction is decent. The 70 diesel standard however needs a long drawbar to lever all the front weight up in the 8000lb class. I'm open to suggestions too. Had thought of getting a wider drawbar of modern steel & surface grinding it thinner to fit the drawbar supports?

My 70 with the drawbar all the way extended does that too with a trailer but has not even bent perminatly.I had to drill a hole through mine and there is lots of metal that came out of that hole.Your front end might leave the ground before it bends.Just my.02 cents.Later Jack(TN).
