Ok guys, which would you rather have on your 2 cyl deere? Mine is a B about 300 in^3.

nc jd guy - You are in luck. Heisler made heads for the B. Jerry, on the other hand does not. It takes mammoth ci to result in a net gain with Jerry's big head.....but his heads usually start out with bigger ports that you can take a stock Deere head. AS far as I know, he only makes them for the A and G John Deere. Just my experience.

Jerry has built many B heads. I know of one that he took the guts out of and transfered the guts out of a later case head into the B head. The tractor was stroked and bored to the limit and he tried to hook it to a dyno but kept breaking the PTO shaft. He also kept breaking some shaft in the transmission when he pulled it in the 6500 lb class. He had more weights on that tractor than what the tractor weighed.
