504 in a C farmall

What does it take to put a 504 in a c farmall I have two motors one without the head will the c head or super c one fit this motor also have a 135 what one would you use Thanks

A 504 block wont bolt up.A power unit 135 or 153 will you need to drill pilot hole in crank .I would use the 135 if it is from a power unit like a combine you will loose one bellhousing bolt you can make a plate for that or leave it out .You will also need the lower water neck from a 140,240,340 to plumb the water pump correctly

thanks i did not thank it would but a guy has one on tha for sale board that he said has a 504 in it I have two good power units how do i tell if thay are 135 or 153?

Look at the right side of the block above the oil filter it will have a casting number c-153 or c-135 cubic inches.The serial no.on my block is 381269R1 I was told the block came out of a 203 combine.And that engine is a 153.
