I have a WC sitting in the weeds and have decided to try and make a puller out of it. I guess I'm looking for some guidance and someone who wouldn't mind sharing their knowledge with me. Have been pulling hot farm for the past few years and that's like throwing money in the toilet to the point that it's no fun anymore. If anyone can help it would be great!!

My first question would be what division do you plan to pull in ? If it is Div III or up, Start with a D-17 or Gleaner E motor. They already have a 4.5 inch stroke and 3 in main bearings if you plan to have the motor stroked. From there you can build anything from about 60 horse power to about 130 depending on what you want to do with it. Be sure and put a 4 button clutch and a 9 spring pressure plate in it when you have the motor out. Where are you located?
