Just wonderin how many guys out there have attempted to put a 310 in a 770 and how much it involves.

I put a 1800 gas in a 77 years ago.The motor will bolt right into your frame but will sit higher .Like the fan will be higher in the radiator area plus useing the short snout water pump off a 1650.Clutch ,flywheel,bellhouseing bolts up too.Need a shorter hollow shaft I think because of the longer motor not sure on a770

I had a 88 with a 310 turbo.The fan had been removed and an electric cooling fan placed in front of the radiator,although the hood was modified to accomodate the turbo
